Dear Friend of Santa Barbara Christian Camp,

As we draw to the close of this year, I am full of gratitude for the way God has been working in the lives of campers and staff, and for your faithful partnership in making that possible.

Recently, I received a note from a camper parent that beautifully captures the kind of Christ-centered impact your generosity creates. I want to share it with you:

"We want to express how grateful we are to have sent our son to camp. It was a beautiful experience for him. He came home telling us about all the fun he had at camp. He also experienced a closer relationship with God, which is priceless. He shared that he had many wonderful moments connecting with counselors, chaperones, and peers. He especially enjoyed talking to Luis, the cook at camp, and said he made the best food. Luis took the time to share with the kids that when he was young, he used to be a mean guy, but when Jesus saved him, he became kind. He was able to connect with friends on a deeper level by praying together and encouraging one another. We just want to let you know how blessed we are to hear about all the wonderful things that happened at camp. It wasn’t just fun—it was deeper than that. It was seeking the Lord and drawing closer to Him."

This story, and the many others like it, are the fruit of God’s work and your partnership.

As we prepare for a new year of ministry, we are inviting friends like you to take a simple next step that keeps you connected to what God is doing in the lives of campers. One meaningful way to participate is by joining our monthly partner community, the Circle of Support, which helps ground this ministry in both spiritual and practical support.

Monthly giving through the Circle of Support provides a steady foundation that allows us to prepare well all year long, investing in counselor training, discipleship planning, and Christ-centered programming long before campers arrive. As members see God’s ongoing work in the ministry, they often find themselves drawn deeper into the mission. Becoming part of the Circle of Support is a long-term pathway of growing in the cause, a way to practice cheerful, steady generosity, stay connected to stories of transformation, and join our team in covering campers in prayer.

Over time, many champions choose to serve, invite others, or share what God is doing here as He leads. Would you prayerfully consider taking this next step?

Thank you for being part of this Kingdom work. Together, we are helping young people encounter Jesus and grow in Him.

Sincerely,
